PRESENT ACTIVITIES

I. LAND DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITY

The Corporation has procured 25 Nos. of New Bulldozers and Poclains under RKVY Scheme for land development activity.

The Corporation is having Regional Offices at :

  • 1. Anantapur - Anantapur and Kurnool Districts
  • 2. Chittoor - Chittoor district
  • 3. Vizianagaram - Vizianagaram, Srikakulam and Visakhapatnam districts
  • 4. Nellore - Nellore and Prakasam Districts

    • The Corporation is having District Offices at :

    • 1. Guntur
    • 2. Krishna
    • 3. Kadapa
    • 4. Eluru

    Heavy Earth Moving Equipment hire charges are as follows :

    • 1. 90 HP BEML Bulldozer – Rs.1,375/- per Machine Hour
    • 2. 90 HP Bulldozer with Ripper Assembly – Rs.1,575/- per Machine Hour
    • 3. 144 CC JCB Poclain / Excavator – Rs.1,250/- per Machine Hour

    Works can be taken up with Heavy Earth Moving Equipment :

    • 1. To convert barren lands through systematic land development and make them suitable for agricultural practices
    • 2. To level the lands with gentle slopes for better irrigation by farming bunds to avoid soil erosion.
    • 3. Formation of Irrigation Tanks, Ponds for Aqua Culture, Desilting of existing Tanks and Canals
    • 4. Development of Water Sheds for optimum utilization of water by formation of Farm Ponds / Percolation Tanks / Contour Trenches
    • 5. Preparation of Lands for Afforestation.

II. Guntur Workshop

The Central Workshop is located at Guntur with expertise workforce is fabricating Agricultural Implements, Bullock Carts, Tractor Trailers, Water Tankers and Dumper Bins.

The Corporation is supplying High Quality Tractor Trailers and Water Tankers to all the Municipalities in the State and to several State Institutes.

III. AGRO SERVICE CENTERS

The Corporation is supplying branded tyres, tubes and batteries to all the Government Departments and Institutes at competitive prices through Agro Service Centres located in all the eight districts. The Corporation is also supplying Agricultural Implements & Machinery and other related equipment through General Sales.

IV. FARM MECHANIZATION

The Corporation is acting as Nodal Agency for Agriculture Department, Horticulture Department and Sugar Department towards Calling of Tenders, Empanelment of Suppliers and Approval of Rates through State Level Technical Committee appointed by the Government of AndhraPradesh.
